Calisay is a stomach liquor of aromatic herbs whose formula appears to come from a Bohemian monastery, later manufactured in Blanes (La Selva) and from 1896 in Arenys de Mar by the Mollfulleda family at the Calisay Factory. [1]

In the 1980s, the formula was passed to RUMASA, which continued to produce liquor in Arenys de Mar. In the late 1980s, when RUMASA was expropriated by order of the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Spanish Government, the trademark was passed to the businessman Pedro Rovira, who transferred the production to Móra la Nova.
