Camí pesseroles 2017 Mas Martinet (Priorat)

Camí Pesseroles comes each year from the 3 plots located along the old road between Gratallops and Torroja, which bears the same name.
The crushed licorella soil, the hillside plantation and the age of the vineyard (which exceeds 80 years) give it the typical character of the farm year after year.
Carignan is a dominant variety resulting from the strategy taken after the phylloxera to achieve, in those times, more production, more color and a stronger wine suitable for exports from the beginning and the middle of the last century.
Camí Pesseroles is an honest reflection of the historical difficulty of Priorat viticulture, the rusticity of a landscape and the tenacity of its people.
